Required Qualifications: Psychiatrist (MD). Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry. New York State license eligible.
Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine and/or Psycho-Oncology. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychosomatic Medicine. Experience in an academic medical center consultation liaison or psycho-oncology service. Track record of research/teaching.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychiatry in Consultation and Liaison Services will perform clinical, administrative and educational work, including teaching of residents, medical students and fellows. Opportunities in research, quality improvement, and to develop integrated care programs in ambulatory medical-surgical areas.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible. To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ).
